Join our small-scale gardening Flickr group (Willem Van Cotthem)

Dear Visitors of this blog,

Today, I have the pleasure of announcing the opening of a new Flickr-group account, called

Small-scale gardening

intended to become a rich collection of photos illustrating the results of food production in small gardens (family gardens, school gardens, urban gardens, rooftop gardens, …) all over the world.

I started the collection with 6 images of family gardens created in UNICEF’s project in the refugee camps of the Saharawis people (near Tindouf, S.W. Algeria).

The collection is open for anyone wanting to publish photos of small-scale gardens, particularly those taken in arid regions.

To upload your own photos you need a YAHOO ID.

Please go to :

https://edit.yahoo.com/registration?.src=fpctx&.intl=us&.done=http://www.yahoo.com/

and get your free YAHOO ID.

This will allow you to sign in to the “Small-scale gardening”-group:

http://www.flickr.com/groups/1527049@N20/

I am looking forward to receive your photos, which will be moderated before being definitely incorporated in the collection.

In order to properly inform all visitors of that collection, it would be nice to give a short description for each photo (Year – location – details of the picture – name of the photographer…) – see examples already uploaded.

Be welcome in our group.
