3 Easy Ways To A Successful Container Gardening

Here are several tips to create a beautiful basket or container hung this summer. The first is to use an artificial soil composed mainly of peat. Good land, as Fafard or Pro-Mix to use perlite, peat, and other ingredients to produce the ground, which is compact in the summer. Compact real garden soil and is transformed under the pressure of concrete on a regular watering. And when it does, the roots of the plants stop growing, because they require a good move to open spaces and absorb nutrients. Hard, compacted soil does not grow good plants, so no real land-use your containers. I re-use my potting artificial soil from year to year. I dump out of the pot. Chewing up with a shovel to cut all the roots of last year and add about 10% of the volume of compost. Compost adds air spaces, and gives plants a healthy nutrition boost.
