Why You Will Love Container Gardening

Growing a container garden is quite easy? Even kids can tend one by themselves.

Growing a container garden is quite easy?even kids can tend one by themselves. Cultivating a container garden is a good start, especially for those with zero or minimal gardening experience. All you need are four materials: container, plants, soil, and water.

Container gardening is not just easy to do, but it is also economical. You can use almost any kind of container. An old, unused bucket in your garage makes a good container garden, even with holes in the bottom of the bucket. Other containers you may find useful are outgrown toy bins and bright plastic tubs. Whatever container you choose, put drainage holes in the bottom, fill them with potting soil, and plant pansies or nasturtiums.

Container gardening can enhance a small space. You can decorate beautiful flowers and vegetable gardens on fire escapes and stoops. If the sun’s rays cannot reach your small space, you can opt for terra cotta pots filled with vibrant colored coleus. If there is sun, stuff a basket with succulents to create a spectacular garden that can bloom on its own.

There are many other container garden design ideas that you can use.
