Glass Goblet Container Garden for Valentine’s Day

by Lesley Shepherd

With careful watering in locations suitable for their growth requirements, plants grown in goblets can last for several years. Cyclamens like the one shown, which is an outdoor plant, should be removed to a permanent outdoor location within a week or so of Valentine’s day. If your weather is still too cold for planting, set the plant in a cool indoor location, out of strong direct light.  This gift will give my friend a zero calorie boost, and the option of a bright red goblet for indoor or outdoor use, with or without a plant.  Much better than an arrangement of dying flowers!
